DESCRIPTION:This event is presented jointly with Gwent Archives and Wales Broadcast Archive and Clip Cymru \nSian Lloyd Jones of Wales Broadcast Library and Rhiannon Phillips of Gwent Archives will present a short film and images from their collections focusing on the iron and steel industries in the town (now city)\, and the role of the docks in the economic boom that steel brought to the region. \nTalks start at 2.00 pm \nBooking is not essential.
