Monmouthshire Antiquarian Association
Established in 1847, The Monmouthshire Antiquarian Association was the first county history and archaeological society to be established in Wales and was then known as the Caerleon Antiquarian Association. The Association publishes The Monmouthshire Antiquary which is essential reading for anyone concerned with the history and archaeology of this historic county. A programme of lectures and field visits will bring you into contact with people with expert knowledge, many of whom are members of the association.
